WALLACE TECHNICAL BLASTING, INC. is a privately held corporation based in Washington State, U.S.A.  Jerry Wallace, president of WTB, Inc., holds a U.S. federal explosives permit and blasting licenses in multiple states.

 

Since 1992, Wallace Technical Blasting has provided technical blasting, consulting, training, and communication services. As the premier technical blasting company of the Pacific Northwest, WTB has led over 150 successful projects. WTB focuses on complex, unique, and challenging projects, including underwater blasting, hydro dam rehabilitation, soil densification, environmental mitigation, seismic research, rescuing projects in jeopardy, and more. We even created display pools for Herman the Sturgeon at Bonneville Dam!

 

His international experience has included consulting & blasting work in Canada, Australia, and Poland as well as training and professional liaison in Jamaica, Peru, and South Korea. In addition, he has collaborated in research and blast design with established explosives engineering firms in Germany and Italy, and has provided expert litigation support in international disputes.

 

Mr. Wallace has served on the technical committee of the European Federation of Explosives Engineers (EFEE).  Mr. Wallace is a past president of the International Society of Explosives Engineers (ISEE), serves on its International Committee, and is a contributing author of the 17th & 18th editions of ISEE’s Blasters’ Handbook. He is the author of numerous professional blasting papers published in the Proceedings of the ISEE and the EFEE.
